LUIS ORTA

Head Coach / CEO

Luis Orta is a Rio 2016 Olympic marathoner. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters degree in Sports Administration/coaching. He also received a bachelors degree in International Commerce and a second one in Hispanic Studies from UK.

 

Luis has four different coaching certifications: USATF Level III, RRCA, Lydiard and Vdot/Jack Daniels.

Luis has competed in over 20 international championships including 7 IAAF World Championships, Pan-American Games, Central American Games, South American Games and the Olympic Games of Rio 2016 representing his home country of Venezuela.

He is a 2:15:35 marathoner and currently holds the Venezuelan National Record in the Half Marathon with a time of 1:03:09 and the Road 10k with a time of 28:39.

Luis Orta graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters in Sports Administration and Coaching. He also has a Bachelor degree in International commerce and a second one in Hispanic Studies, both from UK.

Luis has four different coaching certifications, and has helped over 300 athletes of all ability levels reach their Pb's. Luis is fluent both in English and Spanish.
